Dear Friends,

On Thursday, March 19, 2020, Governor Newsom issued a Stay at Home Order for the State of California in relation to the COVID-19.

In an effort to do our part in reducing risk for our clients, staff members, volunteers, and the community, Standing Together to End Sexual Assault (STESA) has changed the way in which it will offer its services to the community. During this time, the agency is still operating and all of our services are available through methods that do not require in-person contact.

STESA is committed to helping survivors of sexual assault and their loved ones lead safer and healthier lives. Our top priority as a trauma-informed and healing-centered agency is to care for ourselves, survivors and our communities. We will do all we can to continue to support those who reach out for our services, especially survivors who may already feel isolated and in distress.

We will provide updates related to services and events as necessary over the coming weeks. Please check our website and social media for updates. Should you have any questions regarding service availability, please contact our hotline at 805-564-3696. If you have any administrative questions, please call 805-963-6832

Our community is very resilient and we are confident that if we all do our part in honoring directives by our local and state health officials, we will see a quicker end to this pandemic. We thank you for your understanding, and wish everyone healthy days to come.
